Full-day boat excursion to Taquile, an island located 38 Kms. (24 miles) from Puno. On the way, visit the floating
“totora” islands of the Uro Indians, ancient inhabitants of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.
The Taquile Island, inhabited by 2,000 Quechua-speaking Indians, is considered a paradise. World famous hand weavings
and an ancient communal way of life will be admired. Lunch included.

free afternoon exploring the ruins. Dinner and overnight at Inkaterra Machu Picchu in Aguas Calientes (at the base of the mountain).

in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Afterwards, drive up and hike to the splendid Inca ruins of Pisac, a large complex
of religious temples, housing areas, agricultural terraces, cliff-hanging paths and astronomic observatories. Lunch, followed
by a visit to the village of Pisac and shopping at the colorful Sunday Indian market. Return
to Cuzco.

In the afternoon, Visit to Miguel Mujica Gallo's private museum which includes a splendid display of gold objects
and ornaments which illustrate the craftsmanship of the ancient Peruvian cultures of Chavin, Paracas, Nazca, Lambayeque,
Mochica, and Chimu. This museum also houses an eclectic arms collection which include:
old Peruvian weapons and ancient, bizarre firearms.

In the morning, tour some of Lima's
main colonial sites: The Cathedral, Plaza Mayor (main square), Government, and Archbishop Palaces. Afterwards, drive
through Lima's modern residential areas: San Isidro with its olive grove, golf course, and “Huaca Huallamarca”;
and Miraflores with its central park, “Parque del Amor”, and ocean views. Then to visit the private Larco Museum
which contains a fascinating collection of beautifully modeled pottery vessels, unique gold and silver work, mummies
and erotic ceramics from pre-Inca civilizations. An impressive display of thousands of ceramic pieces from the Moche culture
brings animals, plants, and anthropomorphic deities to life. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport. Departure to
USA.
